What catastrophic events could possibly occur if bees become extinct? Why are bees such an important part of our ecosystem?

Leona(SWGATC)Bees are a valuable asset to our ecosystem. Bees are responsible for pollinating blossoming flowers in order to produce all kinds of eatable fruits and vegetable crops all over the world. “They take pollen moving from flower to flower to fertilize the seed in order to build a fruit.” If bees were to become extinct there would not be very much production of foods since bees are relied upon to pollinate. If we humans didn’t have bees to help our food productivity the poverty level would increase dramatically around the world. Starvation could be a severity for animals, humans, mammals and plants. The only way we would rely on pollination and production of foods would be through other insects and mammals to carry on the cycle.

Bees, annoying yet vital to our ecosystem because they pollinate our fruits and vegetables. They also pollinate trees and other oxygen producing plants. If bees were to suddenly go extinct it wouldn’t be as noticeable at first, but eventually fruit and vegetable bearing plants would start to die and no longer produce which would cost the price to rise. With that people couldn’t afford them so they have to eat unhealthy things only. Which would lead to more people dying of obesity related diseases. Eventually the economies would collapse, people would starve and “man” would no longer be the dominant species, if we even managed to live.

Josh(SWGTAC) Bees no matter how pestering they are we still need them to carry on with everyday life. Without bees many of the fruits and flowers that we love and survive on would cease to exist because the bee is the insect that pollinates the flowers and plants we so love and depend on. Starvation would become a norm even in the United States. Our country is one of the ones helping out third world country’s now just imagine if our country fell into starvation, who would help the third world country’s if were unable to help our own country. The whole system would crumble to the ground and the life we know now would cease to exist.

Bees have got to be one of the most annoying insects, especially when you have sweets nearby. I for one am allergic and try to stay out of their way but they are important in the stabilization of our ecosystem. Bees pollinate trees and flowers and actually without them the world would not be as beautiful as it is because when they pollinate they help the flowers and plants grow and spread and without the flowers the world would not be as colorful as it is. So without the bees, eventually the other bugs and insects would eat all the plants and the world would probably end up dyeing out.

Bees are very important to our ecosystem because we depend on bees to pollinate everything. Not only do bees pollinate flowers but they also pollinate fruits and vegetables and all sorts of other plants that we depend on for food. Bees are a vital part of our well - being. I would hate to think that all the bees could just disappear. It would be devastating to our economy and to our life. Trees would disappear along with our oxygen, so it we didn’t starve to death we would die of suffocation. Whatever we need to do to ensure that bees stay around for a long time, we definitely need to do.

I personally believe that bees are annoying and very disturbing at times but the are very important to our ecosystem. Some people dont like bees and want to kill them but what they just dont think about is that bees are just out to do there job which is to keep all the plants well pollinated.Without bees plants wouldnt get the pollination they need to blossom and produce. If they were to go exstinct that would not be good because then the plants wouldnt get the pollen they need. Some plants like where we get our fruits and vegetables from are important because we need them to stay healthy.
