Cooperation/Teamwork

Why is cooperative teamwork important in the workplace? Should cooperation and teamwork be a major factor in receiving salary bonuses for workers?

I feel in any job you should give 100%. Teamwork is a major part of that. You have to be able to get along with your co workers. Anytime there is someone who doesn’t work with a co worker there is an atmosphere of uneasiness. It creates problems in getting the work done and also makes other people uncomfortable. I feel team work should deffinitely be a factor when considering someone for a bonue.

Cooperation and team work are very important things to do in the work field. Cooperating with your co-workers, and your boss will make your job a lot easier. It will also show that you are very mature,and don't mind helping others out. It's better to work as a team than alone. You get a lot more work done, and everyone is happy. Always cooperate with the person in charge. I would try not to give them a hard time, just the respect they need to get the job done. It makes you look like a good employee when you cooperate, and work as a team.

I believe that cooperation and teamwork are very important things to have going good on a job. If you give 100% cooperation and teamwork it makes it easier on the job for you and others. It makes it better for you because then its easier for you to work, help others, and get along with the people you work with.Then at the same time it also helps others to be able to get along and work with you at a easier level of communication.It also shows the people you work with that you care and want to completely fill out the work tasks on the job.

Josh (SWGATC)I feel that everybody working in a job should give a hundred percent no matter what the job is, because it not only motivates the people that you work with but it also affects the customers, they pay more attention to how people work together in a job more than anyone else. If somebody in the team doesn’t work together then the team falls apart. If one person doesn’t feel comfortably working with another person then the work doesn’t get accomplished and all the hard work the other people in the team put in to make the job flow easier was for nothing. Over all teamwork is one if not the most important factor that should be considered when promoting someone or even giving a bonus, if you don’t work well with others then your not a good employee and good employees don’t get promoted and they sure don’t get bonuses.

Cooperation and team work are important in the work place because they allow everyone to be at ease and understand the task at hand. By cooperating with others it takes stress off of one person and enables them to better focus on their job, which limits safety risks. So by cooperating with others the job gets done in a timely manner, correctly and safely. That saves lives and money. I believe that someone saving money for the company should be able to receive bonuses because they helped create the profit.

Teamwork and cooperation are important because not everything in a job place can be done alone there are times when one must work with others to achieve a certain goal. Working with other people isn’t always easy though sometimes conflicting interests can ruin a good team. One way to stop this is to place the importance of the team’s goal over the goals of the individual and to be patient with each other. It takes a lot of patience and hard work for a team to survive, therefore when a team achieves its goal they should be given a bonus for accomplishing it.

Cooperation and teamwork plays an important role in any job or anything in an everyday situation. Even if you are doing a task by yourself, cooperation with the people you are around has an effect on the outcome of the task. It is hard to do a job when there is no cooperation and you never know when you may need the help of others. You can’t win a football game with one person it takes the people around you to make the team and it usually takes the whole team to get the job done the way it should be done and as long as you play on the team and cooperate with the people around you then everybody is a winner.

When there is cooperation at work; jobs will be performed quicker and more efficient. Teamwork is very important also. Getting along with co-workers; make the work environment a happier and more productive place to be. Tasks asked to be done can be completed in a timely fashion when everyone cooperates and works as a team. Listening to your boss and respecting his/her wishes avoids conflict with you as an employee. Following the rules, being cooperative, working as a team can get you a lot of places and move you up in positions. Employers can also put your name in to receive bonuses for there workers. Especially when there performance exceeds company expectations, all employees should be offered bonuses to give them incentive to continue their excellent job performance.
